I Went to a Free Live Music Show Alone - Best Decision Ever! 🎸✨

You guys are going to be so proud of me! 🥹

So after my coffee date story, a lot of you DM'd me saying "You should go out more alone, that's how you meet people in Austin!" And you were RIGHT!

Last night I went to a FREE live music show at Auditorium Shores – ALONE. I was so nervous at first, like what if I look weird alone? 😅

But OMG Austin is so different! Within 10 minutes, a group of girls next to me shared their tacos with me 🌮 And then a cute guy asked if I wanted to dance! 💃

Here's why solo live music in Austin is amazing:
🎵 No one judges you for being alone
🎵 Everyone is super friendly
🎵 You can actually hear the music (not like 6th Street bars lol)
🎵 And the sunset over Lady Bird Lake? UNREAL 🌅

The band was playing some indie folk stuff and I literally cried happy tears. I felt so... free? Is that weird to say? Like I'm finally enjoying being single in Austin instead of hating it 💕

I didn't get anyone's number last night (on purpose!) – I just wanted to enjoy the music. But I went home with a full heart and a full stomach from food trucks 😋
